Growing up in Chichester, I've always been surrounded by its rich history and stunning landscapes. This town isn't just my home; it's the backdrop of my life and the canvas for my creativity. As a child, I was captivated by the world of performance and storytelling. Joining the local youth theatre was my first step into this enchanting realm, and it was there that I discovered my passion for filmmaking.
From the age of 17 to 21, I worked as part of the crew at the Chichester Festival Theatre (CFT). This experience was invaluable, allowing me to see the inner workings of theatre production and to work alongside some incredibly talented individuals. It was during these formative years that my interest in short film making truly blossomed. Alongside my friends from the youth theatre, I started creating short films. The scenic beauty of Chichester and its surroundings provided endless inspiration and countless plots.
As I delved deeper into my craft, I realised that my passion wasn't just a hobby—it was my calling. I found immense joy in capturing stories, whether through the lens of a camera or on the stage. This passion eventually led me to establish Mosey Media, a venture born out of necessity and resilience. After being made redundant in Covid, I knew I had to adapt and find a new way to pursue my love for storytelling.
Starting Mosey Media was far from easy. The initial months were filled with uncertainty and challenges. But looking back, I am incredibly grateful for the journey and what I have achieved. Through hard work and dedication, I’ve had the privilege of working with esteemed companies such as Marriott Hotels, Chichester Festival Theatre, CAPEQ, Little Angel Theatre, Sonia Friedman Productions, and the National Theatre. These collaborations have taken me around the world, yet no matter where I go, Chichester will always be home.
Storytelling isn't just reserved for theatre and film—it's a crucial element in business as well. People connect with stories; they need something relatable and genuine. At Mosey Media, we thrive in helping businesses tell their unique stories. By crafting compelling narratives, we enable companies to connect with their audiences on a deeper level.
In the end, it's all about the stories we tell and the connections we make. Chichester continues to inspire me every day. As I help others share their stories through Mosey Media, I remain rooted in the place where my own story began.
